What luck...., got booked into here from the helpful (Smiling) Tourist Centre at the station, Did not know what to expect after a 25 minute trip on the tram, there I was at the address .I asked where was the accommodation, I was right in front of it. A bright, clean, breezy, modern comfortable Hotel/Hostel. One block away from the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Things got even better when I went inside and met the Reception People, to say they are the greatest is an understatement.
I stayed for three nights and loved it, 9th floor, fresh air and good views, no meals but they are not far away including a breakfast next door, buffet with a wide selection for $13US..and plenty of other meals within 400 metres. The bright room with a large comfortable bed, clean compact bathroom, fridge, kettle, desk etc The curfew which is no big deal as this city will tire you . No WiFi but computers which got the urgent stuff done, A laundry with dryers. As with the rest of Japan, safe as safe.
All this for $40 per night.... The best value, What luck.................
