Stayed in a double room for three nights. Like the rest of the hotel, rooms are nice and modern, and very clean. Beware though that rooms are also very small, like many Japanese mid-range hotels!
Rooms feature a comfortable bed, television (local channels only), tea making facilities, nice bathroom and wireless capability. Like another reviewer, the wireless network on my floor would never work. Oh well. There are computers on the first floor if needed.
The hotel is very close to Hiroshima station, making it ideal for those arriving by train. You can easily walk into the city centre (for attractions like the atomic bomb museum, peace park, Hondori shopping arcade, etc) or trams are 150yen per journey anywhere in the city. There is also a convenience store close to the hotel; like all Japanese convenience stores, it sells just about everything imaginable, from food to alcohol, cigarettes, stationery, stockings, etc!
Staff are pleasant and unobtrusive. I speak Japanese so I'm not sure if the staff can speak much English. The hotel is closed for a few days at the end of year.
I'd recommend this hotel for anyone. It provides great comfort and value for money; just be aware that the rooms are small by foreign standards.
