Our travels took us to Hiroshima, Japan in the early July of 2008... We wanted to stay at WFC which we've booked prior to our departure from Canada. Upon our late arrival to Hiroshima, Kent and Sarah were waiting for us. We were exhausted from climbing Mount Fuji the same day and Kent ensured we get a good rest. It is hard not to replicate the previous reviews but the stay at WFC was truly memorable and all about the 'little things' that made it unique.
* Somebody waiting for you when you tired and dirty beyond imagination, dreaming of shower and good night sleep
* Room named Momiji (Maple)
* Kent taking our 5 year old son,Jack to the park at 6 am
* Sarah's amazing breakfast
* Meeting Hibakusha (arranged by Kent)
* Peace Park guided tour with Hibakusha (kind Chizuko)
* Sharing stories with other guests over morning breakfast
* Kent and Sarah educating us on Japanese culture.
Staying at WFC is one of the kind and not to be missed when visiting Hiroshima.
Thank you Kent and Sarah
