“A stark reminder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

A stark reminder of what happened that fateful day. Must see if you are visiting Hiroshima. Well maintained. If you plan to visit the peace memorial museum also, make sure to arrive before 4:30 pm as they close at 4:30pm

“Amazing”

Ruins from the atomic bomb…could not be more impressive. Easily visited together with the Memorial Peace Museum and the Memorial Park. A must see.

“A Step in Tragic History”

We visited this place at night.. well illuminated.. we were able to see the detail of this ruin..
As a Malaysian, I am glad that WW II was ended after a long misery.. But I feel very sad that it should be ended in this way.

“Famous image; great photo opportunities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

Not much else to do than walk around it to view all angles and take pictures. Still a must visit when in Hiroshima after the Memorial Peace Museum.

“A must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

This was a 15 minute street car ride from where I was staying. A truly somber experience. Take the time to read as many of the granite explanations as you can.
