We recently spent a night at the Hotel New Hiroden, as part of a package with Sunrise Tours.
The hotel is a very short walk from the south-exit of Hiroshima train-station. We emerged from the station, glanced to the right, and could straightaway see the hotel. Also, the bus-station and streetcar depot was right there too: perfect location.
We had a triple-room on the 12th floor (# 6230). The room was clean, bright and spacious. There was a small hallway with closet and vanity sink-unit, plus a separate bathroom.
We had previously found hotel-rooms in Japan to be stiflingly hot, so were pleased when we realised we could open the windows of our room at the New Hiroden.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but noted it was reasonably-priced.
After checking out, the hotel was more than happy to keep our overnight bags whilst we did our remaining sightseeing in the beautiful city of Hiroshima.
A great hotel and one I hope to return to some day.
