My husband, teen-aged son and I recently spent 2 nights at the Grand Prince in Hiroshima. We drove in and had no trouble finding it with the navigation system.(The free parking was quite nice) It is far from the city center but the bus is easy enough to use. It is very convenient for the ferry to Miyajima (which turned out to be the highlight of our trip-the hike up the mountain was fabulous and the deer and monkeys were quite a sight) There are no restaraunts or convenience stores outside of the hotel, but you can bring stuff in when you come back in the evening. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast but did not try the other restaraunts. Our triple room was great. The views over the water were wonderful. The room was very clean and the staff were always nice and helpful. It was also nice having a refrigerator in the room. The spa, bath and gym prices were too high so we did not use them. Nor did we use the bowling alley or game room. I will definitely stay here again.
