It is a bit of a journey from the Train station on the 21 bus, and every venture into the city involves catching it. That is the one negative of the place.
All the rest is good. The hotel is beside the water overlooking green islands and the ports. Our 4 bed room was at one corner of the triangular shaped building and gave us a jaw dropping beautiful view of it all. Definitely one of the prettier sights of our trip. The boat to Miyajima is well worth the extra cost compared to the standard ferry.
The hotel is also beside a nice big of green forest with walking paths around the shoreline. Made for a relaxing evenings walk. It was the most calming and relaxing stop on our trip.
The room itself was everything you could need. Nice big bath and quality shower. Comfy beds. Plenty of room. Can't complain at all. Internet involved taking my laptop down to the second floor and plugging it in there. Wireless would be nicer.
And then there's the main foyer with it's water and spiraling walkway. Gives you an initial wow.
As for the restaurants, bowling, video game parlour... we didn't use them, so I can't comment.
