There isn't much to say about this place beyond the fact that it provides a roof over your head at a budget price. It has absolutely no frills, save for free internet in the lobby. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although noise seems to be readily transmitted through the walls. The location is good, within short walking distance of the Peace Park.

For some reason, the section of the hotel website giving directions to the hotel suggests getting off at a tram stop quite some distance (and I think a couple of further stops from) the hotel - its actually located one block south of Peace Blvd, on Rijo-dori.

We stayed here for one night in July 07. Graet location - 5 min walk from peace park and museum. Across the road from the tram stop (10min from hiroshima station). Hotel room was clean and spacious and fantastic value especially with the free western breakfst thrown in. A definate must if you plan to stay here for one to two nights if you want to check out the peace park etc.

We were in Japan for six weeks and mostly stayed in business
hotels - always very clean and centrally located. The only
criticism I have of this one was it was a little rundown and
could use a bit of a facelift but at less than A$100 for a room
in Japan - who cares?
Good breakfast and one real advantage was that you coukd
check in before 3 or 4 in the afternoon unlike most Japanese
hotels (probably because so many tourists stay there).
We only spent one night in Hiroshima because we'd been
there for 10 days on a previous trip but the hotel was very
well located and convenient for sightseeing. Comfort Inn
and Toyoko Inn (the other big business hotel chain) were
consistently good value for money

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and found it to be a great bargain. The price had me worried at first, but it turned out to be an excellent hotel for location and value.

The room we stayed in on the 4th floor is small but certainly suitable to the tourist couple looking for a clean base to explore from. The staff were great, spoke enough English for us to get by. They welcomed us with complimentary coffee in the lobby. They looked after our luggage for the entire day we checked out. And if you need Internet then these guys are great. As well as a machine for public use in the lobby, there appears to be a wireless access point on every floor! The instructions in the room compendium tell you how to connect in Japanese, but anyone used to using wireless connections should be able to get by. The compendium contains the WPA-PSK key you
need and it is written in English. So worked great for connecting
my notebook and PDA.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Peace Park, A-Dome etc. Then you can catch the tram home to the hotel as there is a stop
just near the hotel. Trams are easy to use. Just by a day pass or pay
the driver/conductor Y150 when you get off. Easy!!!

I would recommend this hotel for any tourists wanting an excellent base, clean rooms and bargain price. There is also a breakfast included (in our deal) and it's a simple buffet arrangement. Some bread (toast), juice, cereal, yoghurts, even sushi, plus coffee, tea etc. Enough to get you going for your sight-seeing day! Vending machines available too for water, drinks etc.

International travellers may want to know where the post office is as that is where you generally find international ATM's. So come out of your hotel, turn left and walk to the next block (look for the post office symbol) and you are there. There are two ATM's in the post office lobby.

If you turn right when you come out of the hotel, you will see a nice
coffee shop on the next block up - on the same side as the hotel.

All up - I would stay here again at this mid-class but convenient hotel.
