“Enjoy a lively Japanese baseball game”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2015 NEW

We were able to get seats for a Hiroshima Carps vs Nagoya Dragons game a couple of weeks ago. As well as the game itself, it is a lot of fun being part of the crowd who sing, chant and drum throughout the whole game. Grab yourself some food and drink and enjoy the show. It is refreshing being at a venue where the crowd is drinking but there is absolutely no bad behavior - unlike NZ and I'm sure many other countries.

“Get out to Zoom Zoom and cheer on the Carps”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2015 via mobile

We happened to strike on a home game for the local baseball team the Carps and it turned out to be a really great night out for the whole family. The stadium was about a 20min walk from Hiroshima Stadium, make sure you go to the ticket sales office on the ground floor to get your tickets. Four reserved seats on the third base side cost about 140000yen about the same as it would cost for a big game of something in Australia. The atmosphere was great, everything was really clean (make sure you put your rubbish in the right recycling receptacle ) and the food was pretty good for a captive sports audience. Prices inside were a little high, but you could easily buy from the street vendors along the walk in. The merchandise store was extensive and the balloons that accompany the team song were hilarious. Highly recommended, the fans are great and love their team. Go Carps!

“Fun atmosphere for baseball”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2015

If you are a fan of baseball, a trip to a Japan League game is a lot of fun. The crowd chanting and songs for each player is great to watch. Beer girls lugging backpacks of beer to pour you a fresh draft and the unique japanese food replacing hot dogs and peanuts was welcome too!

easy to walk from hiroshima station to the stadium. Tickets are reasonably priced.

“Interesting and Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2015

The tour was great. It's worth it. It's a little farther away from most other sites, but it's easy to get there from the station. There is only one English tour a day at 10am. Reservations are required, but they're easy to make on the website (we got ours months in advance, but that's probably not necessary, there were only about 20 people in our group in February.) My husband and I are both engineers, so we were excited about seeing their processes and engines. There was a lot of time spent on the historical cars, but not enough time on the engineering aspects. I wish we had spent more time in the assembly line, we had about 20 minutes there, and it was so interesting. We also got a look at some of their ideas for future cars. I recommend it!

“I you have the chance...go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2015

It's a fun and friendly atmosphere. Don't try driving there, park far away and walk. I recommend the draft Asahi and they carry the kegs on their backs.
