“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

First impressions were not great, as the rooms are tiny (even for Japan), the windows are frosted so you cannot see through them, the corridors are cold and the lifts are not able to cope with the number of people (main problem is the morning, when the room cleaners seem to use them to travel between floors, quite unnecessarily, leaving travellers standing with luggage). But don’t let this put you off. For the price, this hotel is a bargain. Particularly if only staying for a night or two. The rooms, although very small, are clean and comfortable. There is free tea and coffee and even free soft drinks in the lobby continuously, an extensive free buffet breakfast, a free self-service laundry, free Wi-Fi (lobby/breakfast area only) and it is 5 minute walk from the airport shuttle bus and the Shinkansen exit of the station. And a budget price. To get to the centre of Hiroshima, you need to find the underpass (near the airport bus) and walk through this to the south side of the station; all trams start there. So, in summary, a great travellers’ hotel, but not a luxury. For the price though, a very good deal.

The hotel is conveniently located near Hiroshima station and has a lot of restaurants walking distance. The staffs are helpful and let us leave our luggage before checked in time. It provides free good breakfast. It also has free washer and dryer. The only bad thing is this hotel does not have internet connection in the room. The price is reasonable.

We needed a hotel that would do for one night and would be easy to get to. This was just round the corner from the Shinkansen so we could drop the bags and explore the area. To get to the center of town you need to take the tram/bus, but that wasn't expensive or difficult.

Staff were friendly, wifi was available in the lobby.

A small room (tokyo sized) considering it wasn't in Tokyo.

Breakfast included, but wasn't anything special.

The hotel is at a 8 minute walk from Hiroshima station.
Rooms are small but with sufficient space for storing 2 large travelling bags.
The bathroom is well equipped and very clean.
We are impressed by the quality of this hotel : excellent breakfast, free use of washing machine and dryer, Wifi, and very reasonable priced drinks.
An absolute winner.

I really liked this hotel, I thought the room was a bit funky and different. The room is small and compact but then has this modern lovely bathroom attached which was great. Location is good and staff were helpful. There is also complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby and washing and drying facilities. Breakfast was included and was simple but nice, eggs, rice, noodles, cakes etc. Overall a good hotel.

I was blown away by the amenities offered by this very reasonably priced budget hotel. Definitely the best of all the places I've stayed throughout Japan. All the various soft drinks you want any time in the lobby, fantastic full breakfast included, free laundry facilities, a sauna and onsen room, free wifi. I also liked their Yukatas much better. Great service and not too far from the train station. All for a very low price - highly recommended!
