“Great value and spacious with cooking facilities”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

This was such a great find thanks to the reviews on tripadvisor.

We booked last minute and could only get two nights so when we arrived we asked if there was a possibility for a third night. The lovely lady on reception said she could give us a room that sleeps five but it would be the same cost. We had to move for the third night to the bigger room. Unfortunately we just dropped our bags and went and it was not until we came back to cook dinner that we found the utensils were not there. When we called reception the regular people we had seen the previous two days had gone home and the man could not speak any English.
We went down to reception to try to explain what was needed and finally we were given two bowls and two plates. There was no kettle and the list goes on.....

We couldn't get over the size of this room with five single beds, full size kitchen with microwave, rice cooker, larger fridge than the previous room.

Despite our hiccup with the larger room, we would recommend you check this place out for yourself.
There was a grocery store just across the road and one just down the road. Both of them sold food to bring home and heat up in the microwave for dinner. We also went to the local butcher and bought some beautiful wagu beef.

A great find and we really loved Hiroshima.

This is an excellent hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room is big with kitchen facility, fridge, heater, and cooking/eating utensils. Big working table, big cabinet where luggages can be tucked away. Linens are always clean and sufficient. And the best part of all - fast internet connection. There's always, coffee, tea and candies available. Street car line, supermarket, convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Hiroshima Peace Park is a few minutes away. The hotel also have a restaurant that serves good Japanese meals and snacks. Price is quite reasonable.

Room Tip: The atmosphere on the higher floors is more quiet so I recommend you take the rooms at the upper flo...

We arrived here and found our twin room booked was actually a small apartment . The kitchen facility was great for breakfast and everything was within easy reach . It is about 10 mins by tram which is just outside on the main street to the center of the city . Very good value for Japan and I would return to stay here again with pleasure . Funny and good humored staff made it a great stay .

I have just finished a 9 day holiday in Japan and found the biggest problem was securing accomodation that was both spacious (we are a family of four with kids aged 3 and 5) and reasonable.
Step forward the little gem that is Sejour Fujita.
- Price JPY 8,4k per night for VIP room.
- The VIP room has two almost queen size beds, a balcony, a kitchenette and a decent bathroom and is very spacious and well laid out.
- Bedding was good quality and internet is free.
- Location is around 5-10 minutes from Peace Park in a quiet local neighborhood, we saw only a few restaurants close by but there is a supermarket close by where you can get pretty much what you need - there is a small kitchen in the room so you can self cater a little.
- Limited English is spoken but you can easily get by.
All in all a great little hotel and something I would highly recommend to anyone travelling with young children who is cost conscious.
