This hotel is centrally located just across the JR Sapporo station. It is a great base to explore the city, as well as to other parts of Hokkaido (esp. if you're travelling using the JR Hokkaido Rail Pass). There is even an underpass that connects to the station, so we did not have to brave the cold when we return to the hotel every night.
Sights like Odori Park, the TV tower, the Clock Tower are all within walking distance.
However, the room is rather small. If you have huge luggage, you might have to get a bigger room or it might be a problem.
For the location and new-ness, the price of 11,000 yen is great value. The lobby is located at 7th floor, and the rooms are on the 7th till 16th floor. We were lucky to get a room on the 12th floor that faces the station. Check it out.
