“Interesting building”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Its a nice building, not much to see, but still intriguing. They have directions outside for how to get the best photos and a stand to place your camera for auto shooting.

“Nice tour around the neighborhood of the Clock Tower”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

Good for 10 to 15 minutes to walk around the Clock Tower and its proximity. It is in a convenient location and closed to the Radio Tower as well. Do appreciate the good style construction and it is well kept for the tourists.

“I thought this was worth seeing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2011

We went with our 11 year old daughter and spent about an hour looking at the museum and reading all the information about the clocktower's history. Our family always likes to visit museums and found this to be another interesting part of Japanese history. One staff member was pleased to give us information in English. Not expensive to go and look- our daughter was free.

“Visit if time allows”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2011

Just a short walk from the Odori Park. The Clock Tower is surrounded by modernized building but carefully preserved. Built in late 19th Century, an originally landmark of the former Sapporo Agricultural College. You could find a small museum at the Tower which is dedicated to the development of Sapporo (fee 200Yen per adult, 100Yen for full-time student). However didn’t go inside as time not allow. We didn't go inside as we only have limited time.

A public washroom is located at the back of the building. No need to pay.

“Nothing to see from a Westerners perspective”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2011

We went to the clock tower thinking it would be special (had a big icon on the map) and it looked just like a clock tower from an American church in a small American country town. This is probably why its special, but it's probably more interesting through non-western eyes. Have a look at the photos in other peoples reviews and make the call youselves. My disclaimer is that we didn't go inside. Just looked so boring from outside.
