“Blond hair and Kabukicho-like atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012

It was interesting to walk around the streets of Susukino on Saturday night. It was filled with guys wearing flashy clothing and with blond, spiky hairstyles, promoting kabakura (hostess clubs) and host bars. Most of the late-opening restaurants and bars can be found around here.

“Ramen Alley”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

Had lunch at the alley. Went to the restaurant where Tony Bourdain ate a bowl of crab & scallop raamen. Saw his signature and picture on the wall. There are 2 alleys. Go to the original old alley. It has a more quaint ambiance than the newer alley.

“Great Restaurants, bars and nightlife”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2012

The night life district of Sapporo. Every kind of restaurant, bar and watering hole you can think of. Open late every night, We always end our evening in Susukino. By day a shoppers mecca, and by night a party girl and boys dream! Very safe and easy to get around in.

“Bright night life”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2012

At noon you may cross Susukino and do not recognize it. But if you came there in the night you will be met by thousand bright lights and many young Japanese walking along the streets. There are hundred restaurants and bars, and, of course, Pachinko!. No doubt Susukino is the brightest place in Hokkaido.
