We stayed in this hotel for three nights as we were only in Sapporo for a few days. The property itself is quite convenient as it is 5 minutes walk to the Nakajima Koen station. However, the hotel staff spoke very little english and the rooms themselves are not as clean as I thoguht they would be. I guess I have been spoilt by the other Japanese Hotels that we have been staying in so far (Hilton Tokyo, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka). The room we stayed in had very dirty carpet with stains all over them. The beds and bathrooms were pretty clean but this is definately no 5 star hotel so you get what you pay for. However, there is a Lawsons convenient store opposite the hotel so that was one of the good things about this place as buying breakfast was a breeze instead of having to head to the downtown area. It is also relatively close to the ramen alley which I would definately recommend trying out.
