“Good service.”

Stayed for a night. Spacious room with very comfy bed. Staff are well trained, friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly good with ranch of selections from Chinese dim sums to French toast.

This is a grand hotel, which located in the center of the city, there were a lot of shops and restaurant around. The entrance of this hotel was in a small street, it was so intresting to observe the local people's life by walking around this area. The staff did speak very well English, the service was just great, they took care of their guests personally. The lobby manager was always present in the lobby, he was willing to give his guest any information they liked. The room was really spacious, it was a little bit old, but extremly clean, if you would pay more money, you could get a room which has a view of West Lake. The internet connection was speedy, the television programm was various, including English language, you could adjust the temperature of the air conditioner in the room. the only problem was that we can not open the window. The breakfast was very delicious, and the lunch buffet was surprisingly good. The chef cook could speak English too, he had learned how to cook western food abroad, we got oyster and various fish dished and meat, the dessert comprised of icecream and cakes and different fruits.
Just on the next day, when I checked out, there came a valet, he could not get rid of his smart phone all the time. The swimming pool was crowded, it was more for the kids to play.

I stay here regularly when in Hangzhou and if you can get a good rate on ctrip about 600rmb it is well worth this rate. The beds are very comfortable, bedrooms and bathrooms very clean. Whilst there is not so much English speaking staff as when Raddison had it, the staff are still friendly, helpful and if can not understand you will call on another staff that can. I don't take breakfast, as it is far too expensive RMB150. If you are looking for Hyatt luxury, then this hotel you will be disappointed but if it is a comfortable, clean room with western TV channels you are looking for, then this delivers!

This used to be Radisson hotel Hangzhou. Then chinese owners took it and it became Landisson Hangzhou, owners assured that they would keep same quality standard as Radisson as they had worked with them for many years. But over the years, quality has been declining.
The lunch buffet is a total rip off, grossly overpriced and with few western dishes. Other than that, it's just another chinese hotel (quite overpriced)

If you want a chinese hotel, near Zhejiang International Hotel (Tiyuchanglu near the elevated road) is similar with much better prices.

And if you want a western hotel with prices similar to Landisson, head for Marriott (or go to Oakwood residences for good value 5 star rooms)

There is a construction site nearby that can be annoying if you try to sleep through the morning

Room Tip: Choose high rooms ad Wulin Square and around is an area with heavy traffic. Ask rooms NOT facing th...

Stayed here when it was still under the Radisson Brand, nice big rooms, good locations, service was fine, good choice of restaurants, well kept hotel, nice decor, no complaints.

It seems in recent years though there are a lot more options available for hotels in HangZhou and with the rebranding it's hard to tell if I would go back. But if the rates are good, I would say it's worth a look.

Room Tip: Executive Rooms, much more space available and quieter.

This is a good hotel, conveniently located with respect to the West Lake, restaurants and a shopping mall.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was complete, but very small. Everything you need is there, but just fits in and there isn't a lot of empty space left. The furniture and room style are somewhat art-deco style. It looks nice and cozy, giving the room a pleasant appeal. The bathroom is functional, but small too. There is no separate shower. It is combined with the bath tub. The water pressure from the shower head was inadequate. The work desk has a regular chair and is not suitable for extended work on a laptop for example.

Internet access is included in the room rate. There is both a wired connection, as well as a Wi-Fi network, but the signal was not very strong. The wired line was fine though and the speed was sufficient.

With a price of 150 RMB the breakfast buffet is too expensive.

There is a Starbucks in the shopping mall opposite the hotel. It is on the third floor and can be seen from the outside. It takes less than 10 minutes to get there.

The West Lake is not hard to find and in about 20-25 minutes walking distance. It may be quicker to walk than to wait for a taxi and get there.

There is a really good restaurant opposite the hotel. It is called "Good Taste". It has a modern and pleasant interior. There are many food choices, service is quick and the prices are very reasonable. You can find it a little to left of the hotel entrance and parking.

Had a pick up from the train station but the concierge and the driver spoke incessantly throughout the whole journey which was a bit annoying when trying to do a bit of work. Good, efficient check-in with an upgrade to a mini-suite. The suite was pretty average, the 'living-room' section being very perfunctory without any real sense of elegance or comfort. The room smelt a bit greasy, too; I wondered if there are permanent residents on that floor (20F) who have kitchens and their cooking smells permeate other rooms. Level of English is pretty poor - especially when ordering room service. Luckily I speak some Mandarin. Breakfast had a good choice - but no scrambled eggs. I had an Indian prawn curry for lunch in the Brasserie which is the saltiest dish I've had in years. I was only staying for one evening - the bed was perfectly comfortable as was the bathroom. Would recommend for the business traveller.
