My family stayed there for a day on 18th May 2008.The registration was quick but the receptionist did not offer any smile.
We were given a 3rd floor room and the window view was the beams holding the roof of the lobby and the lobby itself. Even though I did not pay for the lake view room, I did not expect to be placed in a room facing the lobby.
The room was generally clean and has few helpful tour guide books in English. The king sized bed was hard but the extra bed was too soft.
We had breakfast at the 7th floor restaurant with beautiful scenery of the West Lake. However, we had to pay adult price for my 7 year old son's breakfast and it was not cheap. The choices of food were limited and not worth the amount of money spent.
Overall, the beautiful scenery at the restaurant compensate for any short fall of the hotel.
