Just stayed at this residence for 3 nights with my folks in a two-bedroom apartment. Space is ample and great view from the 12th floor. Kitchen is fully equipped and washer-dryer with complimentary detergent is perfect. There are signs of wear and tear inside the apartment but nothing major. The bed is one of the most comfortable ones I have slept in.

What really baffles us is that at this day and age, we still have to pay for Internet access. When inquired about password for wifi in apartment, we were told that only the lobby has wifi. When tried to access Internet in apartment via LAN, a message popped up saying we have to pay USD30 for 24 hrs of Internet access!!!! When we are paying nearly USD300 per night,I don't think it's too much to ask for complimentary Internet!

The hotel is not within any famous landmark of the city but you have a Starbucks and KFC within 5min walk. Taxi is the only way to get back from the attractions downtown. It seems that this place is quite well known as all the cab driver we flagged down knew this place as soon as we mention its name.

2 couples with an adult + a baby, we booked a 3 bedroom apartment & spent 4 nights at this really comfortable apartment, nothing to complain regarding the decor, appliances, space & view. Starbucks & KFC is across the road, the neighbourhood is just quiet yet convenient to get to anywhere including the lake. Would be great if the common bathroom also have a bathtub, compare to the bathroom in the master bedroom the common one just a bit small to be shared by the 2 bedrooms.

Oh when I went in Oct there was this construction site right next door, start early if the weather was good, like at 6am... ;( Luckily weather wasn't perfect throughout our stay.

Apartment style 5-star accom with kitchen, sofa and plenty of space. Becomes very attractive if you can get a corporate rate. Pool, gym and breakfast are all top-class. Let down only by the English level of most of the staff. Location may not suit a first-time tourist who wants to be on the lake, but very comfortable for business travel.

We brought four families for the Fall Festival holiday in Hangzhou and chose the Oakwood as our venue. The three bedroom apartments comfortably held two families. We hosted 16 people for dinner and it came off without a hitch. The rooms are new, clean and well appointed. The management is responsive and courteous. Although you can find less expensive options, the Oakwood continues to deliver consistent quality that justifies the price. I can recommend without hesitation.
