“Good but not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

This tomb is a good counterpoint to the terracotta museum as the figures (soldiers, horses, domestic animals) are not life size and you can get up close to them, behind a glass of course.
Skip the hologrammy show unless you speak fluent Mandarin, the English audio is very fuzzy. I know, because I had to exchange it twice.

“A big hill”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Visited as part of the Terracotta warriors trip. Definitely would not do this as a stand-alone tour. Basically all you see is a hill. Taking an electric cart round it means you see a hill from different angles.

“Simply amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

This museum has the typical glass cases and artifacts like you might expect, but they prepare you to see the site itself. You go to a separate part and can walk over the site itself, looking at it through glass panels that make up the floor, and at lower levels, the walls. The most innovative and unique museum design I've ever seen.

“Interesting attraction, off the beaten track”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Much less visited that the Terracotta Warriors, it is therefore less crowded. Although the figures are smaller, the scale and number is still impressive
