“Terracotta Warriors, Xi'an - Must visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2015 NEW

A must visit. Excavations still ongoing. Its commendable that such efforts have been made to excavate, restore and preserve the history. Though can be done solo, maybe better to do in tours considering the availability of services of guide, fast ticket availability and access. Need about 3-4 hours to have decent look into the 3 buildings.

“Amazing Warriors”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2015 NEW

The trip to see the terra-cotta warriors and horses was one we were looking forward to with great anticipation. This site did not disappoint. The first building we entered was huge as they built an airplane hanger around the warriors. The dig was continuing as was ongoing repair to those warriors who needed a little TLC. A fantastic site and would highly recommend a visit of at least a few hours.

We had our picture taken in the photography studio with the backdrop of the warriors and horses....well worth the money as this is a nice keepsake.

Happy we visited!

“A must.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2015 NEW

Simply a must see in China and deservedly so. Well set out, easy to visit and fascinating. The best thing is that it is a work in progress so if you come back in the future it will be different.

“Amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2015 NEW

Under something that seems an hangar roof the terra cotta army is waitng you with its soldiers, horses, each different from another..
The "museum" extend in several buildings.. Not all has been excavated and you can see university students trying to piece together what has been excavated.. Probably over the years there has been soil shift so many warriors are displaced or broke apart.. A nice place to see, testimony of the glorious past of China Qin emperors..
