“Amazing a must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2015 NEW

Had fantastic day here, so much to see it is fascinating and laid out beautifully. We had a private guide which was great as it was very busy and she was able to spend time explaining everything. We also had lunch in the one restaurant which was lovely.

“A MUST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2015 NEW

We are in Shanghai and decided to make a round trip to Xian to visit Terracotta Army , if you can do it! It's truly amazing and will leave you stunned! Woulds of advice, the flight is REAlLY bumpy, the worse I have experienced and they told me this route is always the same, it's fine but just for those like me who hate turbulence. I would recommend you pre book a guide which we did and she was waiting at airport at 11 we had 1 hour drive to the site and four hours there including lunch and made it back yo airport for 7pm flight back to Shanghai. I'm sure nod could do more if you wanted but we saw all of the main excavation sites . It can't repeat how great today has been( even with the turbulence)

“Something you must not miss”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2015 NEW

weather in Xian during October was really nice. You will find it slightly foggy.
There were majorly 3 tombs, and you will be able to see them very clearly and can take many photographs as needed. You cant enter the pits as its enclosed, still some good views are manageable.

I preferred to take a guide along with us and that was really helpful. As the area is very big, they can guide you within time limits and you wont waste much time. Also the guide fee is cheap which you can pay along with tickets.

A must see place in Xian, though it will take couple of hours to reach this place from Xian.

“One of the key archeological sites of China”

It was really a privilege to visit this famous site. You get to see quite a bit. One of the farmers who discovered the site was signing autographs on to books there when we visited.
