“Takes your breath away.”

I had seen pictures of the Terracotta Warriors but seeing them in person is so different. It really just takes your breath away. The gift shop offers any size warrior you can possible imagine and will bargain.

“Breathtaking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014 NEW

This is a definite must if you are in China. We made a short trip to Xian to see the warriors and it was very worth it. The site is incredible and it is mind blowing to see in real life how much they have uncovered - and to think there is so much more yet to be uncovered. Would recommend a guide as it is worthwhile to fully appreciate the site by knowing more about it.
Lots of people - expect queues and try arrive early and be patient.
outcome- very worthwhile, impressive and definitely recommend a visit here.

“Very interesting, well worth the visit! A must see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014 NEW

We visited the Terracotta Warriors in June 2014 with our children aged 4 and 6 years, we hired a private english speaking tour guide called Bryan Bai Chen. He was fantastic and we highly recommend you get a guide with driver as its very difficult to get around in Xian. A tour guide will give you a great knowledge of this amazing place without the hassle. Much easier with a personal guide with young children than a large long day tour bus! ps: bring a pram as there is a bit of walking involved.

“A must if you go to China”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014 NEW

Mind blowing ... as soon as you walk into the building you realise how vast the area is. Seeing it on TV is one thing but being there is something else. Unbelievable that every one of those thousands of figures are all different.

“History comes alive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014 NEW

Hot in June but worth the heat. Fortunately, pit 1 which has the most restored terra cotta warriors, has a hangar like structure built over it, providing welcome shelter from the heat.
