A must do--well worth the trip! This was another highlight of my trip! It is truly awesome to see all the soldiers and horses. Make sure you have a tour guide; ours was a wealth of information and gave us a detailed view of the history behind the findings. It was kind-of sad to think of all the work that went into making all those soldiers just to have it destroyed by the people. We also ate at the restaurant located in the museum; the hand-pulled noodles were the best.

“Go early or late to avoid the crowds.”

The warriors in situ were obviously the high point, but some of the exhibits surrounding the pits should not be missed.

“Not to be missed!!!”

Highlight of our trip to Xi'an. The kids loved it and so do we. Highly recommended. We even met with the first farmer who discovered the artefacts and got a signed book. What an honour!

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Definitely a must see if you are in the area (or China), it's an amazing sight.

We suspected that some things were displayed for effect rather than their original discovery site, but still impressive all the same.

The only down side was the golf buggy transport from the entrance to the pits, which seemed to take ages and was not under cover - which in 95 degree heat was unbearable, but aoart from that definitely worth a visit

“True or fake?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We booked this trip through Hantang House. The best thing about it was our guide ZaZa who was very funny and informative. She arranged lunch which was good if a little expensive. The exhibits were very impressive but I am not sure whether everything they say and show is 100% genuine. My feeling is that MOST is.
