“Only place i eat Vegetarian meal in China - Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

I am a vegetarian , so the only place i dared to go for dining in China was this . The dishes i ordered were - 1. Mapo Tofu and 2. Some raddish dish. The food was very tasty , quantity good. But no one there understand English. Its not the pure vegetarian place so in the menu there were some chicken and fish dishes as well bu no one was able to understand that what we need being Vegetarian. But when the food arrived , i made sure its all vegetarian and it was all very very tasty and inexpensive ,

“Good place to eat vegetarian dishes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Entering the restaurant, an exhibition stand with various precious Chinese medicines can be found before us. Continue to walk inside, my friend and I were instantly impressed with its decorations full of Buddhist culture and atmosphere, such as Buddha image, pictures on the wall and Buddhist music played. When the friendly waitress guided us to the private room corridor, we found each room has its unique name like “Bodhi” with rich Buddhist cultures. Inside the room, a compassionate Avalokitesvara image is hanging on the wall, and we just loved it. After order, tasty dishes were quickly served in a few minutes. During the whole meal, we enjoyed a variety of fine vegetarian diets, which are all vegetables but taste like real meat. Impress me the most is the dish called Buddha skipping wall, a kind of soup made with snake butter, dried scallop, winter bamboo shoots, etc, which is so tasty that we can still feel the fragrance lingering in the mouth in the afternoon. Pity is that all dishes served are not so much, I’m afraid a person with a good appetite may not satisfy with its small portion. While relatively speaking, it is still worth a taste after strolling around North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
