Service, politeness, rooms etc. everything is fine.
The biggest problem in Xi'An is transportation. The taxi drivers asking for the destination and then decide if they take or don't take. The taxi drivers are the masters in the city with the worst behavior, some aggressive, I ever met. It's a pity for this nice city.
But Hilton staff was always supportive and helpful.
Thank you so much.

We booked the executive floor on this hotel and were upgraded to a suite. This was among the best rooms we have ever had. Deep carpets, comfortable bed, two large televisions and a large bathroom. The staff were very welcoming. English spoken was a little variable but generally the best we encountered in our tour through China. The food in the exec lounge was fresh although and there was a cook to order egg service. Evening drinks and canapes were of high quality so much so that we didn't feel the need to go out to eat on a couple of occasions. The exec lounge itself was very quiet.
The pool and changing rooms were on a grand scale. The pool was spotless and warm and a great opportunity to wind down after a hard days sightseeing.
When we asked for the concierge team to help us visit the Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) (a real highlight which I would recommend if you can fit it in) on the way back to the airport, they arranged an excellent driver who bought tickets for us and escorted us around the sight (although he did not guide as such) and ensured we still caught our plane on time.
The only drawback is that it is a bit of a walk to the city center although taxis are cheap and plentiful. We didn't try the bus service although it looked reasonably easy to use.
All in all this was the best hotel we have stayed at in China (and among the best ever).

The rooms are very spacious and amenities are outstanding. The location, a few blocks from the city wall and walking area is wonderful. The breakfast buffet has lots of choices, both western and Chinese. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has the polish and professionalism I have come to expect when staying in a Hilton 5 Star property.
The service and willingness of the staff to exceed your expectations is clear. All can speak English or if unable to resolve your question, they will take ownership and find another colleague who can assist.
Whether it is housekeeping, door staff or the chef showing you how to make noodles, all of the staff are at the top of their game and go above and beyond in being able to ancticipate your next need.
Of special note is the staff in the Executive Lounge, especially Kangta She. This gentlemen was of great assistance in verifying flight information for me, to the point of having two phones and the Internet all in use at the same time to complete the task. Truly a service professional.
The faclity is fabulous and well kept. The rooms are all top notch with every creature comfort imaginable. Food service is a nice balance of traditional Chinese fare and Western dishes. The noodles were some of the best I have ever had!
The hotel is withing walking distance of the City Wall, and both the Drum and Bell Tower. This is one of the few 5 Star hotels within the 'Old City'.
I can find nothing but praise for this property, the staff and management.

Room Tip: The best value is to go for a room on the Executive Floors. It includes access to the Executive Lou...

We booked the exec floor and upgraded to a lovely suite so were favourably disposed from the start. Lovely swimming pool and good internet access. Unlike other reviewers I thought the exec lounge had plenty of evening snacks and drinks and also offered afternoon tea and breakfast. It was very quiet, which we found all over China. You can easily walk to the Terracotta warriors tourist bus from the hotel, although as taxis are cheap you might not want to bother. We walked everywhere but the walks were long and others might prefer to use the cheap taxis

The Hilton Xi'an is an older style hotel close to the Eastern Gate of the Xi'an city walls. It's not that close to the real action near the Drum and Bell Towers or Moslem quarter, but cabs and pedicabs are so frequent that it isn't a problem.

I stayed on points, but the rooms are big and comfortable. View from the window was poor, but if you were up high, you'd see the City Walls.

I went for a stroll late at night and south of the hotel are a couple of blocks of genuine local nightlife - street food et al. Safe.

You could do worse that this hotel.

You could do worse.

Thanks for your kind comments about your recent stay at Hilton Xi'an.

Hilton Xian has the largest guest rooms in the city with an average size of 43 square metres. All rooms feature views of city view or hotel’s lush garden. For your next stay here, you could ask for the room with garden view if available.

Looking forward to seeing you soon again.

This property has a regal old school Hilton feel in the public spaces. I stayed on an executive floor, the lounge is a good one with very nice breakfast but just adequate evening snacks compared to some other Hiltons. The restaurant is a formal and brightly lit one, and the lounge is also bright with very few food items, hence there is no real evening bar food option. While located in the walled city, the hotel is around twenty minutes on foot from the more interesting food and walking locations including the Muslim quarter or the downtown, and right around the property there are shopping areas but not great food from what I found. I would stay again certainly as the quality of the property is mid-high level Hilton and it can be a nice western location if you do not want to go totally local in China. Staff were OK, not exceptional but also all had some English skills and my Hilton status was acknowledged and respected. Xi'an is a cool city to visit, probably most tourists are there for the terra cotta warriors which you need to get a ride to in any case and for that this Hilton is a fine property, if you are going to want to step outside into the best part of central Xi'an there may be better locations.
