Simply excellent. Visit at night when the liights are all lighted up. It is a sight to see! Very beautiful at night. During the day it looks like just another tower. Highly recommended.

Nice to see, but not much different from all other bell towers. Plus it is a bit cramped in a big roundabout..

Yes, a must see, no doubt on that, but I would say from the outside is enough. There are many more interesting things to visit, that are less brand new looking.

“Monks with a Purpose”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

We so lucked out that we went to the Bell Tower and someone has passed. A ceremonial table with burning insence and the deceased photo was next to it. A monk had opend the gates tot he Bell Tower and a parade of monk walked from the Big WIld Goose Pagoda to the Bell Tower to honor the deceased. What luck to witness this ceremony!

“OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

the bell tower was OK !! after a day wher i had seen the Terracotta warriors and visited the Pagoda this semed a little tame. The comparison of the old mixed with the new as both the Drum and Bell tower sites impresive as they a re are locae near to Muslim street but are surrounded by modern choking Xian !!
