“Our guide engaged us with Tang Stories”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Donna of China Odyssey Tours was awesome and she made our visit. She knew all the facts and peppered it with her dynamic sense of humor. Native of Xi'an and history major there is no one better connected.
The Tang was her favorite Dynasty and she had many stories to tell us about it.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

This was quite an experience. The show was spectacular . . . beauty in motion. You have to see it to appreciate it . . . no words would be adequate.

“Part of our tour in China with Travel China Guide”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

As we review our itinerary to comment on the various attractions we visited, it is easy to see how we returned so exhausted. This was a nice way to end a very active day. It was comfortable and the dumpling dinner was interesting and more than enough to eat. No, it was not a 5 star restaurant, but the dinner was relaxing and the show was entertaining. At 70 minutes, it may have been slightly long for some men, but about the right length for most ladies. Overall we'd say it was worth going to if you visit Xi'an.

“Cheap Dinner with average show”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

First of all, I would like to say that the decoration was really really amazing. The first thing i notice when i go thru the revolving door, it was strong smell of perfume. I was really looking forward for the dinner and show as our tour guide told us that the dinner provided is suppose to be authentic Chinese Cuisine that actually give you a taste of the food provided in the ancient palace of Tang Dynasty.

However, the dinner start and the food enter 1 by 1. The first course was okay. The appetizer, the dumpling. The food was very small portion and I thought that was okay as it was the appetizer. It was a 6 courses meal. The second was the soup, it was nothing much that a clear soup with cheap black mushroom. Then the 3rd course was 1 piece of tempura prawn split into 2 pieces that taste like fish very small portion too. Then the 4th course which suppose to be the main course served in a portion that is not bigger than the appetizer. it comes with 2 tiny pieces of beef and chinese spoonful of egg fried rice and about 5pcs of french beans. Nothing special at all about the dinner. Please don't check out the picture on the website for the menu as you will definitely be disappoint when you see the real thing. http://www.xiantangdynasty.com/Column.aspx?ColId=46

The show in the other hand was okay. Just that I don't see the wow factor compare to those show that I have seen in Thailand.

The Price is as below (06.09.2012) - The Official Price.
Dynasty's Dinner (With Show)18:50 - 21:40 @ RMB 500

Champagne Show (Show with a drink) 20:30 - 21:40 @ RMB220, RMB298, RMB380 depending on the seats.
