“Nice walk in a park like setting.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014

With the limited amount of time we had in Guilin, I wonder if this was the best use of our time. We visited the Seven Star Park, and it is rather pleasant to walk through the park, but while we were there, the monkeys weren't around, and since it was May, I guess much of it was not operating, and part of it was under renovation. The Camel Hill was nice, but all in all, I think there might have been better use of our time at another attraction.

“High price for depression”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

It is a nice place to walk and escape people, due to the very high price for a Chinese park 15 USD range However, a waste of money for western tourists, this park is designed to make money from Chinese tourists. The few interesting things like Peacocks or other interesting things charge you extra, 'nickles and dims'! The zoo is really bad, dirty cages and animals, the pandas are caged individually. You can buy a ticket that does not include 'the crying room' aka zoo. This park would only be worth visiting if you had to be in the Guilin city area for a business conference and were at a loose end. If you contact lenses were dry, you could go to the zoo to start some tears. I suggest looking for bloggers or specialists tour providers to more interesting places or ancient towns. If my review is useful please tick the box. Thank you so much!

“It is a scenic park all right - but not worth the entry charges”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

China is full of parks..Guilin is a beautiful city but most of its tourists spot are overly commercialized & offer nothing spectacular above what could be seen or experienced even while traveling to guilin.

The Cave inside the seven star park is non descriptor and irrelevant. Once you vista Reed flute cave ( which u must & is not a part of seven star park), nothing catches your attention as much.

Simply avoidable.

“All but the pandas”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

A pleasant place to walk and see a peacock on every corner. Don't try to take photos or the owners will get angry. They like their 10 kuai for photos. Do NOT go to the zoo inside, unless you just like to sit down and have a good cry. The pandas were housed separately and visibly depressed and listless in dirty habitations. The alligator habitat was full of dead leaves. We saw a few birds, nothing else. After the Depressing Pandas, we were in no mood to even seek out any other animals. Do see the "Forbidden City" exhibit made of umbrellas, strange but clever. We climbed a hill and found the graveyard of "8,000 heroes," but later when we tried to find information about it online, we saw nothing.

“My Childhood Memory-Seven Star Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Autumn outing!Autumn outing! I still remember when I was in primary school, teachers often take us to the Seven Star Park.U know, 10+ years ago,Guilin is laggard and lack of entertainment. This park is our dreamland, and we never feel bored from going their time after time.
To now,I finally understand what a multifunctional park it is!Cuz,we entertain in it,sightview in it,hold meetings in it and eat in it.day-time we're in it,night-time we go for a walk in it.I recognize how much Guilin gov. cares about the citizens and how much we love our lives.
Thank u,after editing this article,I feel so grateful.
