“Excellent Place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

My stay at this hotel gave wonderful experience after long time. Great hotel, great team of staff- always ready to help & guide for making comfortable. Good recommendation received to visit guangzhou certain locations. Close to great places like city tower, worth to view in night. Place lots of good restaurant around. Little far from downtown but worth is as you can plenty of taxi there. Definately recommended to experience once at this hotel as really high quality in all aspects of expectation.

Room Tip: Best place to stay in Guangzhou.

You enter, and are greeted with a cup of green tea :). Lavish, gorgeous and royal to the core, one of the best properties ever. Rooms are big, beautiful, carefully decorated with immaculate artistry! Staff is extremely sweet, helpful and courteous. Breakfast spread is the most amazing ever, the variety almost feels endless! Aside from the great hospitality and grandeur, the property also boasts of a great location to stay in GZ. The experience at this property is totally worth it!

This has been the best hotel of my 3 weeks trip to Asia. The quality of a 5 stars palace at the price of a western europe 3 stars ! Gorgeous room, great service always with a smile, and the breakfast buffet is just amazing - huge choice from french pains au chocolat to asian type buffet or traditional english type. Everyone will find what they like and much more. The private car service offered during the stay was just perfect too. A great address to remember.

The service is fantastic, they even escort me up to the room. What more can you say. The breakfast is good, the spread is fantastic. The room view is great. You can see the river and the entire city. It's also very near the river where you can walk around 10mins and see the Canton tower (worth the walk, esp. evening when it lights up). I got up in the morning to jog and you can actually run along the river which was really great. However, all these comes at a price. If you can afford, this is definitely a great place to stay in GZ.

My stay at this hotel is always the best part (by far) of my business trips to Guangzhou, and the pastry table at the main restaurant (Foods) is always the best part of the stay. Even being someone who is usually not a dessert person, I can't seem to stay away from the pastry table. The rest of the kitchens are no less impressive. I am picky about the authenticity of my Italian food, yet Lemoni delivers the authenticity and the sophistication. The breakfast and lunch buffets at Foods offer rich and convenient options for business travelers like myself. And on my last day of stay, which happened to be a day before my birthday, I was presented with a surprise birthday cake (beautiful and delicious chocolate cake!) and a card, along with warm greetings from the Foods chef and staff. One could not eat better, or feel more welcome, in Guangzhou!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

stayed for one night in February and treated like royalty by the team at RC. Fabulous room, service, facilities and spa area. Yes the area is "up and coming" but its improving fast. My daughter needed a baby cot and it was lovely, with teddy bear and baby toiletries. Its the little things and attention to detail that sets this place apart.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Stayed 2 nights over Christmas with another friend and his family. Good location, next to Guangzhou Public Library, museum and a park with the view of the tower. All the staff from the bell service to reception and restaurant are very friendly and courteous. Rooms are big and comfortable, pillow menu is provided too. It was our friend's birthday on Christmas day, but unfortunately we couldn't get any reservation to the restaurants on the eve and on Christmas day as it was fully booked. The hotel was gracious to present a birthday cake to him that was delivered to his room. We had a great time at the Churchill Lounge on eve of Christmas. Breakfast is great. My children enjoyed their time at the pool although it was very cold outside. We will definitely be back, hopefully by that time, the construction site nearby would be completed by then!
