I've been going to this hotel even before phase 2 opened so I have been here a long time.
Facilities are good and the employees have good manner etc.
It had been one of my favourite Family destinations before in China.
I liked it even so much that I decided to stay there on my business trips.
It's supposed to be one of nicest and biggest family oriented hotels but it has come down to being more business oriented now.
On my last trip, the check in took over 30 minutes and that was just for the checkin and not including the lineup to check in.
We bought tickets for the circus and they charged full price for my 9 month old baby.
They said they charge by head no matter how old if they need a seat or not.
Sounds kind of stupid so if you come with many infants/babies you are going to be forced to buy full price tickets for all of them.
If not it forces you to split up with your family while you watch it and someone else is looking after your baby etc.
Now on to breakfast same thing. The room includes 2 breakfasts and our 9 month old who passes the 70cm mark ( before it was 90cm ) had to pay to get in. They really like to force families together :)
So in the end, this hotel has dropped from being one of my favourites down to zilch.
I will of course still goto the amusement parks they own but will not stay here again.
I probably give them 50-60 rooms a year including my business plus family trips.
For business it's ok, for family you decide.
