Stayed for one week on business at the hotel. The room was clean and the furniture looked new. Bed was pretty hard, but some people might like that.. The bathroom was okay - a little mold around the shower, but nothing that bothered me. Wifi was free and fast.
On the food side, the room had a little refrigerator which is nice. My room came with breakfast, which was really handy if you are not from the area and don't want to go find it on your own. The breakfast was a buffet, which made it easy. Made up of a variety of choices including hot and cold things (bread, cereal, fruit, etc.).
Location is the real reason to stay. It was close to the Kremlin and walking street and if you get a room with a view of the Volga, it is really beautiful to wake up to.
I had to do a little gift trinket shopping and the hotel gift shop had the same things you found on the streets, but I think the hotel was actually cheaper.
The staff was helpful and there was always someone who spoke English around. There was also always a security guard.
