“Not as spectacular as advertised”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

We strolled along Nevsky Prospekt, and as we enjoyed the four sculptures, we didn't think they are as spectacular as to deserve to be the 10# ranked attraction in the whole of Petersburg. So I would not recommend to go here if it takes quite a detour for you, but if you happen to be around, it is quite nice.

“a thing of beauty is a joy for ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

All four sculptures are very impressive, but especially the sculpture on the North West corner is an absolute master peace and a joy to look at.

“Living history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

Well...as someone who studied Russian history, it was interesting to see the frozen river and realize that this is where Prince Yusupov and his friends tossed Rasputin's body after it was almost impossible to kill him by gunshot and poison.

“Part of a great open museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

The Anichkov Bridge as a bridge in Nevsky Prospekt absolutely worth a visit.I visit this bridge for several times when I stroll in the Nevsky street in long Saint peters burgs days, with beautiful restaurants, shops and sits around.

This is an experience.. watching how the bridge open! You can drive with your date or loved ones, and while waiting under the moon so romantic, you will see how this bridge opens. Its another must experience for us!
