Owner description: This is a touristy but fun immersion into Russian dance, music and singing. Great for kids, but get there early and sit in the front.

“Good show”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

It turned out to be much better than we expected. The performers really have to be in good shape. The wine and caviar break is somewhat limited and we had a full house all trying to get to the snacks and wine. But nice nonetheless.

“American”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Everywhere we went we were addressed as American. My tour guide explained that the way we walk, look people in the eye and smile reveals who we are.

“A lot of fun for the money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

Make sure you bring money to shop because this at least during intermission has real artists and craftspeople selling their own art.
The cost is low for the objects you buy. And the dancing and music is great fun, well presented and costumes charming. Not as much of a tourist trap as one would have thought.

“You are a stranger in a strange land”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Almost no English written or spoken in St. P. You must be self sufficient and well prepared with maps, guides etc to get around St. P. The historic center is small and easy to walk around. The Finlandia RR station is a 50 min. walk from the Hermitage.

“Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Having read other reviews our party of four all decided this was a must to visit. What was good was the skill and artistry of the performers, who all were brilliant at what they did. However, it just wasn't my thing and three out of the 4 in our party wouldn't go again. But if you are genuinely interested in "ye oldie Russian culture" and your idea of a good night out is watching entertainment from a bygone time, you will have some fun. there were some genuine laugh out loud moments and some wonderful performances but a bit too long for me!
