“Great site that is often overlooked by most tourists”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Although the Palace lays outside of the city, it is easy accessible via bus & tram. The 404 bus will pick you up inside the city and have you at the entrance in no more then 30 minutes. Trams will also connect you with the city and Metro stops.

The grounds are vast and extensive but the tour is for the Palace only. I may be incorrect in that other parts of the grounds are accessible as well but during my trip I took in the Palace. The tour will last around a little over a hour and you will taken to most parts of the Palace. The tours were in Russian but I did not seek out a tour guide who speaks English. Regardless of a language barriers, the tour is well worth your time as the Palace is breath taking and brimming with history. If you can spare a few hours, the tour is well worth your time.
