“Both me and the cockroaches were looking to leave”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

As to the title, the bathroom was tiled and the tiles were coming off, allowing water to stand. As I entered, there were two cockroaches that ran away, which is what I wanted to do. I don't even want to think about the smell...
The room is medium sized with a queen bed, desk and chair, refrigerator, and a 17" CRT TV that gets no English channels. Wifi is OK. You get some noise from the street, but it's not excessive. The main entrees for the breakfast are chicken patties, potatoes and crepes with honey.
The location is good, as you can walk to the main attractions and the waterfront.

Unrenovated rooms, 60s shower, hard beds and limited service. Sea views quite nice but get a high floor. 24 hour bar (the only place you can buy water) opens at 5pm. On site strip club 1,000+ ruble cover.

The hotel has a great location, only a 10-minute walk to the Vladivostok train station and a 5-minute walk to the Amur Bay harbourside walkway and the city centre. The staff were very helpful and some of them can speak good English (quite rare in these parts of Russia). However, the hotel rooms were quite old, and the toilets are still Soviet style. The carpets definitely need changing, and the other drawback is that they allow smoking in the rooms. A lot of Chinese, Korean and local Russian tourists stay here. Breakfast is also average. Though they say it's 3-star hotel, expect a 2 or 1.5-star hotel. I pretty much paid for the location, the view and the helpful staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a harbour-facing room on either 6th or higher floors, and ask for a non-smoking area of the...

Myself and wife had visited Vladivostok during 27-31 July and stayed this Hotel.
But I say very bad feelings,,,,,
1. Taxi Driver ask us to get off near by Hotel, and he just indicated you may go-down this
road, on top of hills. When we took Taxie at Air-Port, Driver said Okay go there by 1,500 Roubles.
And we thought he knows well about this Hotel location. But no sign/name of Hotel on that building, and then we asked many peoples to reach Entrance of this Hotel????!!!!????!!!!
2.When check-in, Receptionist said, Sorry No Twin Room today, and she said just use Single Bed Room with Sub-Bed. I heavily complained, but she said just, soory NO-WAY tonight, and added possibly change the room based on your reservation through Travel Agent, tomorrow, if room available????!!!!????!!!!
3.Room was very dirty and Door for Balcony had been broken and not easy to open it, Wow!!!!

Thus we wish to visit again Vladivostok, but defnitely NO-WAY to stay this Hotel again!!!!!!

We arrived in Vladivostok on the Trans-Siberian. We had organized to stay at a homestay but were informed that the homestay was unavailable. So we were dropped off here. It was a nice surprise. The rooms are clean and tidy. The room we had was a economy room. So it was quite small an had the weirdest bathroom we have come across on our travels. There is WiFi throughout the hotel and its free. It is a little slow but I assume that is because the hotel is quite large an a lot of people will be on it. The free breakfast is actually very good. The 24hr bar on the 4th level is cosy and has good beer and bar food. It is only a short walk into town were all the bars, Cafes and resturants are. The hotel is an International hotel. So it is full of business men. Some of which were a little sleezy towards any women who walked passed. Over all we enjoyed our stay and I'm sure you will as well.

Admittedly It was not in the best condition. But the staff were exellent. They were all young friendly and making the best out of what they had.
The attatched Strip Bar was the best I have ever seen!
I didn't expect it to be the Hilton. The food was very good.
Remember. This is Vladivostok, the real Russia. Not Beverly Hills.
If you are a snooty nosed westerner accustomed to being pampered, perhaps its not for you. But I valued the authentic no frills style of this place and I will go back there again.

I stayed on twin room which its bed sheets are very old and didnt even meet hotel standard. The carpet was very old and rough.
The bathroom had only one dark ligh bulb with a shower. No amentities provided.
On the first night I used one of the towels provide which had a strong smell of purfume-Yes smell like a Russian one and I thought it was a softener. On the second night I used another one which has no smell at all!! How come the hotel do not replace a towel!!
This hotel is not deserved to get even a star!
