“Only if you have no other choice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

perfect location if you have some business to do in the GazPromNeft refinery. Almost all the staff speak a little english. If you are not russian, ask clearly a room with a double bed if not you will receive a room with two small single beds. Ask a room with a street view because the light in front of the hotel are so powerfull that during the night the room are never completely dark. THERE IS NO FITNESS ROOM even if the website say yes. Swimming pool/sauna/hammam room has to be booked and cost 400 roubles per hour. Poor breakfast (yogourts just horrible). A small "restaurant" area near the bar (staff not very nice). Good landry service.

Room Tip: street view are better + ask for a room with a king size bed

...it's average price, average rooms, average decor, average food.

If you're travelling in Russia then you can expect the service to be...average. Actually, you can expect it to be poor, and consider 'average' a blessing.

I will still stay here again, as the building is relatively new, with working AC, in room bar, good wifi speed and convenient for my (business) purposes.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2007

I checked into this hotel (everywhere was full!) after my horrible experience with another Moscow hotel (please see my other review). This hotel was clean and new. The reception service was good initially but when another lady came on board and the service level differs a bit. Probably due to language barriers, she wasn’t as friendly towards us compared to her colleague who attended to us earlier in our stay. Anyway we weren’t too bothered by her. The location of the hotel bothered us a little bit as it was about 2 hours drive away from city centre so we needed to wake up early in the morning to get to work in city centre. Due to the location, we also dined in the hotel quite often and I have to say the food at the hotel restaurant was quite good though there was not much variety. Overall I would say this was probably the best hotel I have stayed in Moscow and perhaps not the most convenient.

  • Liked — Food & the room
  • Disliked — probably the location of the hotel - you must be prepared to travel 2 hours to / from the city centre
