The hotel is an old building, Bathroom does not look nice, but the staff friendly. and so near metro station. There are 5 minutes walk from the market. I think the hotel is expensive fees by. if you go to eat from the Turkmen restourant, realy so near.

Good Hotel with a good location, 10 minutes by Metro from city center of Moscow, red square and the Kremlin also there is a huge new mall "Aviapark" just 15 minutes by walk from the hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, breakfast is good but it's the same every day, so if you stay for longtime, it will be very boring. The food is good and not very expensive (between 500 & 1500 roubles) in the restaurant, I liked the beef stroganoff and the pizza Margarita .Free sauna & gym included.

The Aerostar is on the main road from Sheremetyevo Airport to Moscow the Leningradsky Prospekt . It is good for the airport, but you will need a car to go into Moscow. This is a modern hotel. its rooms are large clean with cable TV. The restaurant is similarly large and the food typical western, with steaks usually being a good choice although Russian fare such as borsch or blinis are also available. This is a typically "American" type hotel with lots of Glass and marble in the foyer, but offers good value. However since BA have stopped using Sheremetyvo and switched their flights to Domodedova the hotel is less convenient for UK visitors.

Wow what a place! The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Attention to detail was superb and the staff were very helpful at all times. The best thing about the hotel is the evenings when you get the ladies of the night walking around offering you everything for a good price and i have to say its the best place for such a good price. They dont half know how to suck you dry but wont do up the "a" hole but may be persuaded for the right price! Go here and have the night of your life from a russian babe and the hotel will just cheer you on.

Staying there for 3 nights on holiday . It was very a fantastic experience to stay here. the breakfast is gorgeous , with lots of delicious foods and fresh fruits and drinks to choose . but most of all , i would say it is the friendly and kind-hearted staff that impressed me . when I left the hotel , I hesitated to write a gratitude letter to the staff manager. However , we left in such a hurry .But today I just surfed this site ,and found a good place to say thanks to the receptionist Markceem who helped me and even accompanied me to the city bookstore to buy Tpygenief's Poem collection after work. It was really touching and surprising ,especially when I know that the Russian would not like to spend time on work or anything related with their work after they are taking time off. So many thanks come to one :Aerostar Hotel is a worthwhile place to stay while travelling in MOskow as the staff are frinedly and helpful . . by wangzhengr@163.com

Stayed for 3 nights on business - we picked hotel for location near conference centres. The room rate was eye-watering high - but this seems quite typical in Moscow. The architecture is distinctly Stalinist, but the hotel has been somewhat modernised and brightened up. At check-in the staff were less than welcoming, and informed us that only smoking rooms were available. We said we booked non-smoking. They said there are no non-smaking rooms available. We suggested taking smoking rooms for one night and then moving to non-smoking rooms, the next day, after they had opportunity to sort out the mix-up. Then mysteriously, two non-smoking rooms became available for the duration of our stay. No smile , no apology, no explanation. But to be fair - we got what we wanted.
Having got off to shaky start, things did improve. We checked out the restaurants. The upmarket one looked rather charmless, so we we went down to the lobby bar which was a bit more lively. Meal was quite good. The first bottle of beer was cold. The second was warm. They had run out of cold beers - but when we commented about it they did bring a chilled glass to pour it into. We experienced none of the problems mentioned in other reviews about paying for meals & drinks in advance - we just signed the bill after the meal same as in any hotel.
Bedroom and bathroom were perfectly functional - if a bit soulless. Aircon worked well, TV had many channels in an assortment of languages. Plenty of hot water for a decent shower, and everything was clean. WiFi struggled to connect in the room, but worked perfectly in the bar.
Highlight was the breakfast - which was a stunning international buffet.
I have certainly stayed in much worse hotels than this - but I don't feel tempted to return here - the prices seem out of proportion to the service.
