“Original Tibetan cuisine restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Excellent Tibetan cuisine restaurant located on the ground floor. Delicious food, nice food with original taste (took Lhasa soup, shrimp with lemon cn, Chamdo lamb, shrimp with vegetables). I liked everything (just a tall price tag)

“A good restaurant with a nice interior”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

Very tasty! not hard! despite the amount ofveaten, indicating the quality of products
of which dishes are made. Would advise companies to come from 2-3 people, as some dishes
are largely portioned not for one person, but for the company. Prices are good!
The owner personally took part in the service! You are a welcome guest! that's for sure!
Of the already tried and bitten would recommend: Juicy chicken wings marinated in
a spicy sauce, thick soup with lamb, walleye fillet with sauce of your choice and
of course homemade breads, Tibetan pancakes , of course with dates)

“Moscow's hidden jewel - perfect Himalayan food in an authentic surrounding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This place has the right environment for enjoying really great Himalayan food in a decor that takes you to somewhere between Lhasa and Kathmandu.

They manage to get the perfect blend of spices and herbs to give the food the real Himalayan flavor and palatable for a western taste without making it too spicy. Unfortunately most of the asian restaurants in Moscow either water down the spice level to make the food unrecognizably bland, or make it so hot that you stop enjoying it.

I would especially recommend the Momos, steamed dumplings served with "Nepal" sauce made of herbs. They are as good as the authentic stuff that you get in the real Momo shops in the dark alleyways of Kathmandu.

The service is friendly and polite. The manager comes around to talk to the customers to make sure that everything is ok and adds the personal touch to service.

For those who miss the great Himalayan food and hospitality of Nepal and Tibet in cold and dark of Moscow, this is the place to visit to lift your spirits.
