“Highly modernized hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed two nights for business trip. Not like other Russian hotels (?), all staffs were quite friendly and polite for all hotel guests. Although the room was quite simple, every amenity was well prepared and no inconvenience during the whole stays.
Resutaurant in this hotel was also recommended.

The hotel is adjacent to the big shopping mall "Afilmall". I could enjoy shopping and food at the restaurants.
Hotel has no service for foreign exchange. However, I could exchange money nearby banks (walking distance) with reasonable rate.
Internet access has no problem and wifi was also available by free of charge.
Easy access by using metro (nearest station : Delovoy Tsentr (No.3 or 8 line) etc).
I will definitely return this hotel for next stay in Moscow.

The hotel is a 10 mins walk to Expocentre and 20 mins tube trip to the city centre. It is very basic but nice and clean. It could improve as it's a bit too basic for a 4* hotel but I was generally satisfied. Some of my colleagues' rooms smelled pretty bad but mine didn't. Two things I really didn't like: prostitutes freely running in the corridors and making noise at night and the staff at the bar. There was a really rude and arrogant girl (light brown straight hair, early twenties) who spoke very poor English and it spoiled my experience there. I tried room service and it was nice. The spa was also lovely. Wifi didn't work for a whole day in the whole hotel, which was a major problem since I needed to work.

Room Tip: I had a room facing a closed corridor with a building site in the opposite building, I would recomme...

My second time at this hotel. Stayed for 6 nights. Lots of new high rise buildings being built around the hotel. Next to the hotel is a very big shopping center with very good quality shops, nice super market and a lot of restaurants with different cuisines. Staff very good and willing to help. Beds very comfortable and the bathroom has a very spacious rain shower. The only negative thing is that they don't change money in the hotel, You have to go to the shopping center where are 2 banks, which is not very convenient as you have to wait, because there are a lot of people there.

Stayed there on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, to fill in over the week-end, the hotel accepts very weird sort of guests, that are using hotel rooms to party all night. It was the case on this particular Saturday night on the same floor and not far from my room, and it was a nightmare until 5.00am, despite calls to the reception to make this stop : shouts, doors banging, people running and laughing loudly in the corridor...In the morning, upon check out, the manager on duty "generously" offered us two coffees taken at the bar, and said they could not locate the rooms where the noise came from. Quite easy to locate actually, just look at the doors outside which are standing big bags of Mac Donald's garbage + miscellaneous empty alcool botttles.

Room Tip: Avoid week ends !!!!!!

Located in the new business district of Moscow. Bit expensive compared to surrounding hotels, few steps to AFI mall and Metro station. Staff members were very friendly especially the Front Desk team who helped a lot with city directions, because locals donnot speak English. Non smoking property, bit pain for smokers like me. Wi-Fi was fast and free of charge. Definitely will stay again!

It is exactly what you can expect from a Novotel: functionality, practical, clean. Besides it is perfectly located for a business traveler having to be at the Moscow City Center.
The team at the hotel is really well trained, efficient, helpful, correct and fast.
The rooms are very good. I had an Executive room, perfect for working.
The quality of the bed and pillows is also very good.
And the bathrooms are well equipped and maintained.
Again, it is a Novotel, not a luxury hotel. It has what it needs to have.
I plan to return!

Best proximity if you are attending the exhibition at Expocentre. The hotel is attached to the exhibition centre, the mall and metro station. The City centre is very reachable by metro or taxi.
The hotel is new and fresh, spacious lobby, restaurant and the rooms. Rooms are big, light and comfy for business travelers: has big shower (but no bath tub), USB ports, few plugs. Floor to ceiling windows. What was strange the mini bar had only water (complimentary) and nothing else.
Cleanliness is excellent. My room was cleaned perfectly. Very good bed and especially I liked the linen quality!
Wi-Fi is fine, good speed but its annoying that you have to log on all the time if you leave your room and go to the restaurant & lobby and back.
Breakfast was okay, there were some local Russian dishes available, but overall not too big variety and I didn't like coffee from the coffee-automate.
A la carte menu in the main restaurant as well as room service was fine, especially local dishes. Service is attentive but waiting staff is not too knowledgeable. For example the lady couldn't tell us which types of cheese they have in a cheese plate (only 4 types by the way). English isn't strong either. The good thing - they are trying, they're very polite, smiley and attentive.
Special thanks to Irina Blinderova for her attentive service.
I would definitely come back.
