“A must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

If you're traveling to Moscow, you cant miss Red Square. The cathedral, market and (sad to say: of course) The Gum (pronounced goom), a very high-end shopping mall filled with food, coffee and the most expensive bathroom in all of Russia!

“Red Square”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

St Basil's and the views of Moscow from Red Square. Very crowded with visitors from all over the world. A lot of scaffolding was erected while I was there - some for repairs; a lot in preparation for Sochi (Olympics).

“A Must when you visit Moscow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

If you can only do one thing in Moscow, then come here. The other thing that is a must is to ride the metro. Red Square offers hours of explorer without spending a cent. Within a 10 minute walk you can explore the following besides Red Square: St. Basil, the Theater, GUM, underground mall, souvenir vendors, a walk down Nikolskaya Street and lots more. And of course make a visit for the history that has taken place here.

“It's bigger than it looks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

It's always hard to know just how big an area is until you're standing in it. Whilst it's not the most picturesque square I've been it's Red Square in Moscow, so much history. It can get very crowded and I mean very crowed especially on a warm Sunday. There is a dire lack of public toilets and finding a store that has a facility available to the public is difficult so make sure you go before you go.
