I stayed in Moscow for a few days and visited the Tretyakov Gallery on two separate days along with the Pushkin Fine Arts Museum.
I am now a very great admirer of Russian painters and galleries (I have visited galleries since in St Petersburg, , Tolyatti, Saratov, Ekaterinburg and Kiev(in Ukraine)- all of them good quality galleries) I like especially the painters Serov, Levitaan, and Repin. The quality of the exhibited work in this gallery is outstanding by any measure and the traditional building itself is very good too.. The building has a pleasant red exterior and there is a cafeteria in the basement and entry to the building is via the basement. The building is located in a pleasant street among other narrow streets with lots of interesting small shops and restaurants and across the bridge from Red Square. This area of Moscow reminded me of parts of Paris.
I would like to go back to the Tretyakov Gallery.
