Quite unexpectedly one of the worst 4* chain hotels in Moscow! A rather old and ill painted room with a dirty carpet. Carton doors and thin walls prevented me from sleeping till midnigh and after 6 am. Very spartan bathroom. Queue at breakfast buffet: 7 people waiting in line for like 10 min to be seated!! Location is not conveniet for public transport users (the hotel gate entrance on the opposite side from the metro exit, at least 5 min walking).
A big drawback: a terrible railroad smell arising in the night and penetrating into the room despite never-opening window!!
The rest is fine: non smoking room, fine bed, linen, ironing utensils & tea boiler, rich and varied breakfast (although not worth 30 € and 10 min of waiting), fast checkin & out, steady wifi!
Despite a good exterior, one of my worst experiences with a 4* hotel in C&E Europe.
