I booked this hotel in a leap of faith (before it was even finished). The hotel opened on or about July 1, 2011.
The hotel is in an odd location. Smack between office parks, the Russian offices of British American Tobacco, it will be convenient if you have business nearby. Also the hotel is in the middle of soviet era residential apartments, and lots of new construction. Leningrasky Prospect / Tresveskaya is about 15 minute walk. The nearest metro stop is a bit of trek, (15 minutes) , under a bridge and across Leningradsky Prospect. If you are coming from the Aeroexpress, you might want to cab it to the hotel. At the time of writing, there is lots of construction going on at the Bellarusky rail terminal - walking to the hotel from the rail station with luggage, despite being so near, may prove to be a challenge.
The staff appear to be very well trained and extremely accommodating. i found no faults. The breakfasts were beyond adaquate, on par with other Raddison Blu hotels (if not better) The lounge downstairs is spacious and there is an on site italian restaurant "felini" that is quite good.
Speaking of the location : Across the street from the hotel is a nightclub "Golden Palace" and an attached topless bar "Golden Girls". When I checked into my hotel, i was concerned that it may get too noisy, but in fact, it did not. This may prove to be a plus to certain guests. The hotel is in a Residential / commercial neighborhood.
I would have liked this hotel to be closer to the metro (15-20 minute walk), but if you need to be in this part of Moscow, it's a nice hotel.
