This is a very charming and luxurious restaurant with great food. We had trouble finding the place (we went but Metro and then walked) as it is located in what seemed to be a residential area, and all the windows of the restaurant are covered. We actually asked the guard outside if he could show us the right direction to Noah's Ark, whereby he said: "Welcome!"
The restaurant was very lavish, plenty of gold, but at the same time quite cozy with genuine Armenian furniture and lots of pillows.
The Armenian food was superb, as was the Armenian wine we drank.
We ate different kind of small Armenian starters, a typical Armenian main course and ended up spending more than three hours smoking shisha (water pipe) and enjoying the Armenian music being played.
The price was slightly above average, but nothing out of the ordinary for a nice big meal in Moscow. It was well worth it!
Upon leaving, we got a copy of the CD with Armenian music being played during the evening, a nice touch.
Next time in Moscow, we'll definitely come back, but we’ll probably take a taxi there...
