“Great to have something like this 24hrs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

Starlite has become a sort of tradition for me in Moscow. I usually don't sleep much when I'm in the city and I like to catch the Metro first thing in the morning to head over to the Starlite for coffee and breakfast. I can't say the food is fantastic but for Moscow its a refreshing choice to have over some of the other restaurants available. The omelets and home fries are pretty decent. The breakfast sandwich was just ok but about what I would expect in the U.S. as well. Overall because of the hours and locations I would give it a 4. I think if you are looking for good steaks or American food Chicago Prime is better.

“Juciest burger in town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2012

A good place to go when you want a reliable, juicy burger--just like the old-fashioned burger joints back in the States. You can get a burger platter with fries under $10--that makes it quite a bargain in Moscow. The shakes are expensive--$10. But they are thick and rich and delicious, and enough to share between two people. The place is a bit loud and noisy, and generally filled with kids. Not a place to go for a quiet dinner, but you can't beat the burgers.

“The rare bird in Moscow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2012

Have tried this diner several times with family and friends.
Overall atmosphere is good, a lot of expat families having breakfast there. Good seats, nice English speaking stuff.

Portions are big for Russia (not for US or China, though) and tasty, try sandwiches or burgers. Until noon there will be free coffee refill, that's unusual for Russia but very good for American coffee-lovers.

“Pity this isn't a real American diner in Moscow any more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2012 via mobile

I remember what a great place this was some years ago - excellent food, a lot of atmosphere and fun, boiling with energy. Not any more. Came here for breakfast, the service was slow and impersonal. The food tasted like grass. I've ordered an omelet, it arrived luke warm, Parmesan on top hadn't even melted. Even the tea wasn't good- apparently they are using some very cheap sort. Overall, a pity, and I wouldn't come here anymore...
