Spent 2 weeks at this hotel in a "superior room", (2 people) A small fridge was an extra cost, but worth having. Hot water only in shower recess, not in hand basin. Our rear room in the new wing was on 3rd level, overlooking some type of generator room with huge fan/air con installations on roof. The large diesels started up at 2am on one occasion (later on others), waking everyone up in the hotel I should imagine. I was told the reason was a "brown out":
Door's slamming in the middle of the night was not uncommon, some guests obviously indifferent to other's comfort. Service not so good in this hotel, due to poorly trained staff, and low management standards. However, all staff tried their best, always had a big smile, and were always very polite....the training to international standards is a job for the Hotel Management to address. The security guys on the front door were very helpful, always eager to organise taxis, and give assistance whenever asked. All staff were very friendly.
Tried a meal here a couple of times, not impressed, and went elsewhere to eat daily. I noted that room service meals were rarely covered, so a cold (should be hot) breakfast with the odd fly drowned in oil may be a problem? Hot food should be served hot...period! Breakfast can be a long wait even in the dining area, and the coffee urn is visible, right near reception/staff area.....go figure. A coffee or tea served, while waiting for cooked breakfast may alleviate the frustration of a long wait.
Having said that, the old axiom holds true....you get what you pay for, and I would only recommend this hotel if you are on a tight budget. On the plus side, the rooms are clean, bed comfortable, plumbing ok, staff friendly, and overall, not overpriced. Basic, but clean is about it.

The hotel is decent enough. Price is a bit reasonable, room is ok for 2 persons. Locations is a bit off and it was beside a very big hotel so you might miss this.

The one thing i like with this hotel is the reservation. Hassle free and they allowed without any initial deposit.

As for someone who travels almost weekly in the visayas I can clearly see the big difference on the level of customer service this hotel has. I would rate it as very poor especially the staff at the front desk. If your taking their budget room service is also on the budget. Almost no pleasantries upon checking in. This is the same also with century 21 another hotel belonging to the same group. As for their rooms. It's clean and rates are affordable . Food at the cafe is good though. Overall it fails save for its price friendliness and accessibility

Room Tip: No fitness center, no swimming pool

Just came back from vacation in Iloilo and Guimaras with my family.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights.
Reservation was easy. I just had to call a week before and they did not even ask for a deposit.
Our flight to Iloilo arrived well in advance of the 2pm check-in time but they were quite nice to accommodate us early in the family room that I had reserved.
The family room in the annex building was big - it was actually a 1-bedroom suite. Aside from the queen bed in the main sleeping room, there were 3 single beds outside of it plus a TV area with a wooden sofa and table. But there's a downside to these. The comfort room or toilet was a bit too small for the room. It had a small sink that you could hardly wash your face on without your face bumping the glass panel that's supposed to hold your toiletries. I removed the glass panel just so I can brush my teeth properly.
This plus the fact that the room was on the old side. It had a low ceiling and the beams on the ceiling had a heavy effect on the room.
We stayed in the family room for one night and requested to move to an executive double in the new building which was, albeit smaller, much much better. It had a big bathroom and the look of the room was a lot better. The room that we got also had a good view of the surrounding areas.
The hotel resto was small but service was good and the breakfast portions were alright.
The front desk personnel were always pleasing and requests from the room were always immediately attended to.

Room Tip: Room 401 is nice. Avoid the family room 118 if you are a bit picky about room amenities, look and fe...

They say the price is cheap I don't think so,in other countries I visited you got a much better deal as this one.Nothing fancy just clean room and bathroom. The staff well maybe when I check in the one (male) manning the front desk look sad as if I cannot afford to pay.Room service was ok tho it quite pricey. The location was great.Service average. You can find much cheaper hotel in Iloilo area much better than this one.

Price is cheap, there's a cheap restaurant in the lobby

Don't expect anything fancy because you get what you pay for. Bathroom and rooms are small but the the service is excellent and it's location is in the center of the city

If you need a hotel just to sleep in this is it! If you're looking for royality and comfort look elsewhere
