“No-Frills Hotel in a Good Location, Good for Short Stays”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room, the bed, and the efficient use of space. I stayed in a room with a queen-sized bed. I expected the room to be tiny, but it had enough space to walk around. The room has free wi-fi (although a bit spotty at times) cable TV, a safe, a full-length mirror and enough pillows. What it lacks though is a cabinet and refrigerator. There is a retractable clothes hanger attached to the wall, which you can hang your clothes from. The hotel is situated right behind Robinsons Place Bacolod, so you can just cross over to buy food and other supplies. I was also very happy that the hotel's restaurant Cafe 21, offers a similar menu to the bigger restobar. Thankfully there was a Bong Bong's store inside the hotel, which offers the usual Piaya, barquillos and other edibles that one could have packed into a box to take home from the trip. Very convenient. My only request is that they allow late check-out without having to pay extra, or at least make the check-out time 12:00 nn. Check-in time is at 2:00 pm and check-out time is at 11:00 am. If one wishes to extend up to 2:00 pm, one would have to pay extra PhP 500+.

Room Tip: Some rooms are adjoining, so if you're traveling with a big group these would be the ideal arran...

We were lucky enough to book a room during their promo, and only paid around php 2000 for 3 nights. I already had reasonably high expectations for Go Hotel (since I had stayed at a number of them already) and after my stay here my expectations were well met. The hotel was charmingly laid out, and near the sprawling Robinsons mall, which had a nice park at the center and a fountain, perfect for relaxing and just strolling about.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the bathroom had a really nice rain showerhead located at the ceiling, which had excellent water pressure. They also have an affordable cafe at the ground floor that serves great coffee. Overall, a satisfying stay and highly recommended for those wanting comfort on a budget.

Go Hotels is great value for money. I stayed there for five days and I found it the perfect place for me in Bacolod City. The rooms are clean and bright with air conditioning, flat screen tv, safety box, free wireless and a very comfortable bed. The service left nothing to desire with the staff being very attentive to my needs. In the lobby there is a laundry service, a small cafe (with excellent beef tapa breakfast) and also a massage service.
Its location behind the Robinsons shopping mall makes the stay also very convenient since there are good choices of restos as well as a supermarket. The hotel is near Lacson Street from which it is easy to get taxis or jeepney to explore the city. Commuting from there to the airport is likewise easy with a shuttle service right in front of the mall.
It is definitely one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in so far and I can only recommend it if you do not bring too much luggage with you. The rooms are too small for those.

Room Tip: I prefer the rooms facing the back side. It is the greener side without concrete structures to look...

If you want to saved some of your budget, choose Go Hotels you'll never go wrong with their rates. A budget hotel that still offers you security, cleanliness, and convenience. The hotel is new, therefore the rooms are in a modern looking one. Hotel staffs are very friendly. One more is, it is located near the Robinsons mall.

This is one of the growing breed of hotels who have model led their pricing structure on budget airlines. The base price of the room, if you book far enough in advance and choose dates when the quota of cheapest rooms have not sold out, is unbelievably cheap - perhaps little over $20!

So what do you get for your money? Well - biggest thing you get are savings to spend elsewhere! You must have expected to pay more so use what you saved to enjoy Bacolod! But you also get a very functional hotel that meets its' primary purpose - it gives you a safe, clean new room that is perfectly fine for sleeping with a perfectly functional en-suite. And I think this sums up the hotel - it is functional. Great effort has been made to fit everything you need in but also keeping size to a minimum. At this price it does not try and compete with the L'Fisher's of the town but if all you want is a clean, functional (that word again), modern hotel that has nothing in the way of animal life that you find in some older properties (ants / cockroaches) and don't mind rather claustrophobic rooms then this is the place for you.

Staff were perfectly fine - typical Philippine manners and helpfulness.

One big bonus was Robinson's Mall next door which is handy for food and passing an hour. It is also beside the main restaurant street of Bacolod.

One downside for me - I need a strong Wifi signal for work and it just does not have it. When I asked they said they are clear that it is only intended for social use so if you rely on it this could be an issue.

Typical of budget airline pricing you have to pay for anything extra but in a way that allows you to minimize costs by not being charged for what you don't need.

Go Hotels Bacolod is wisely located within the vicinity of Robinsons Place Bacolod which makes it more convenient for guests to shop and dine. The hotel is only 25 minutes away from the airport and very accessible to any destination around Bacolod. When you arrive at the Hotel you will surely notice the clean and cozy ambiance of their lobby. The hotel rooms are neat and clean, the beds were neatly done and comfy to sleep on. The bathroom has built in rainshower and hand held shower with hot and cold water. I was so impressed with their state of the art elevator,The Staff are friendly and nice, ready to attend to your needs. They have a restaurant at the lobby with chic interior and offer good food and beverages. Go Hotel exudes class and elegance far from any other budget hotels we stayed at. This is surely a place to be in Bacolod.

The hotel is quite new as it just opened this year so the rooms and other hotel areas are clean. Surprisingly, the rooms dont have cabinets, they just have a couple of hangers by the wall. There are complimentary soap and shampoo but to avail the complete travelers kit-shave, toothbrush, lotion, etc, one will have to buy it. Compared to summit circle hotel which is also under the go hotels, this specific hotel also lacks sofa, luggage stand and complimentary bottles of water. However it is located at the back of robinsons mall and rob's citywalk so dining, shopping and entertainment is only a stones throw away. Also some of the best clubs and night life spots are near the hotel
