I've dined in Aboy's so many times, they deserve to be reviewed.
My favorite dishes: Dinuguan, Bulalo, Grilled Praws and Grilled Seafood. For dessert, try the Fruits in Ice Cream and the best one is the Puto Bumbong (finely ground sweet rice steamed in a long cylindrical tube - served with freshly ground coconut, brown sugar with ground sesame seeds) that you have to pre-order as soon as you sit down since it takes awhile to cook (it's prepared in a little hut outside the restaurant). I usually order the same favorite dishes but most of their dishes are outstanding - well seasoned and cooked perfectly. You can choose from the covered pots and look at the dish before ordering. After several visits though, you start getting bored with the same dishes being served - I wish they had specials - something new everyday. The food is outstanding but sometimes the service is a little slow and you have to hunt down and wave to one of the servers to catch their attention if you need something for your table. Overall, dining experience - taste wise is outstanding. Service could be improved a little more so that the customers won't get frustrated looking for a server - there's lots of them but sometimes, they don't pay attention. The place is clean, has good ambience and Restrooms are clean.
