Your ordinary Filipino friends will regard this as a special treat. Americans will find it reminiscent of fast food back home -- quick, consistently decent and reasonably priced, slightly geared towards Filipino tastes, but why come halfway around the world to eat here? There was no difference among several Jollibees in Manila, Lipa City or Cebu City.
This is one of the few places in the Philippines you can get brewed coffee outside of overpriced coffee specialty shops -- expect a line of expats and tourists in the morning. Otherwise, service is on a par with any US fast food place, But you don't have to clear your own tray. Spaghetti in the Philippines is sweet and not likely to please Americans used to Italian-inspired pasta sauce.
