Jason Hyatt and his Abaca Group really know how to pull off the introduction of a completely new concept to Cebu's discriminating palate.
Who would have even thought of a Lebanese restaurant? Only these guys. Every single aspect of Lebanese cuisine seems to have been scrutinized and what one gets on the table is a feast not just for the palate but for the eyes as well. All the ingredients are sourced in some special way, either imported or grown locally, in order to render just that right flavor, texture and appearance.
One can either do the mezze approach with small dishes of this and that. I like that they are mostly vegetarian. Or go with stronger plates of lamb, beef or chicken. The flatbread is made on the fly and comes to you still hot and fresh. A perfect companion to the other plates.
The service is usual Abaca. The food will not disappoint and the price point very affordable.
We will be back (very often) and are happy Cebu gained another culinary landmark.
